Pine Island Development –

Caddo Parish, Louisiana

The Caddo-Pine Island area is where the North Louisiana oil industry was born and where commercial quantities of oil and gas have been continually produced for nearly 100 years from a wide range of sub-surface formations.

Muslow Nos. 1 – 2

Wilcox completed its Muslow No.1 in the Paluxy formation in June, 2007. The Muslow No. 2 came online in January, 2008. Each of the wells produces both gas and oil from the upper section of the Paluxy formation.

On October 6, 2008, total depth of 3,000 feet was reached on the Muslow No.4. Completion operations are expected to begin by early 2009. Anticipated production is both oil and gas from the Paluxy and Glen Rose formations.
